Four CPN leaders including the two chairmen are meeting even on Monday.
The meeting of Prime Minister (PM) and Chairman KP Sharma Oli, fellow Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, senior leader Jhala Nath Khanal and standing committee member Subash Chandra Nembang has already started the at the PM's official residence in Baluwatar Monday morning.
The leaders will try to resolve the internal dispute in the party.
The leaders had met even on Sunday but the meeting ended inconclusively with the warring chairmen not budging from their respective stands during the meeting that ran for almost three hours.
The leaders, however, had agreed to give continuity to dialogue.
The chairmen had talked after four days without dialogue. Oli and Dahal had last talked at Baluwatar on Tuesday.
The anti-Oli faction had held standing committee meeting at Baluwatar Tuesday after Oli unilaterally postponed it indefinitely earlier on the day. Dahal and Khanal had gone to meet Oli to convince him to attend the meeting but he refused to comply and urged them to not call their meeting standing committee meeting.
The meeting of 29 standing committee members from the faction of Dahal and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal had concluded that unilateral postponement of the meeting by Oli was inappropriate and against the party statute.
The meeting had then given the responsibility of convening the standing committee meeting after talking with Oli.
