The COVID-19 death toll in Nepal hit 300 Monday with 11 deaths reported in the past 24 hours.
The country recorded 979 COVID-19 cases Monday.
Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said during the daily press briefing that the total number of cases now has increased to 46,536. Similarly, 1,736 persons have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total to 30,677.
The government has conducted 9,218 PCR tests in the past 24 hours taking the total number of tests to 777,563 across the country until now.
